INSEE Ecocycle is a licensed E- waste collector from the Central Environment Authority and the only total sustainable solution provider in Sri Lanka for toner/ink cartridge waste.
All electronic waste accepted by Ecocycle is first dismantled at the pre-processing facility located in Katunayake. The dismantled parts are then separated by material type into plastic, metal, printed circuit boards etc.
While the printed circuit boards are sent for final disposal through a material recovery process, the remaining material is disposed of through cement kiln co-processing and local recycling partnerships. This process ensures that your E-waste is completely disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
